Clear & Brilliant Or Fraxel Skin Resurfacing

Here’s the bad news. Both men and women will start to lose about one percent of their collagen each year after they turn 30—loss of collagen results in signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin. Plus, factors like sun exposure, environmental exposure, and genetics can quickly speed up the aging process.

This is where laser skin resurfacing comes in. During a laser skin resurfacing treatment, heat-controlled energy is utilized to improve the overall appearance of the skin. Removing the outer layers of the skin can significantly reduce lines, wrinkles, and blemishes.

The strength of lasers is typically broken into two categories:

Ablative – Removes the exterior layers of the skin and provides more drastic improvements.
Non-ablative – Stimulates natural collagen production in the skin without removing outer layers.

If you’re looking for effective treatment with virtually no downtime (so you can return to work on the same day), try our Clear and Brilliant or Permea lasers.

If you’re looking to invest in a more aggressive treatment with even more impactful results, ask about our Fraxel treatment. The Fraxel Dual laser has been the gold standard for years, treating pigmentation, sun damage, acne scars, loose skin, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Intensif Radiofrequency Microneedling

Looking for overall facial rejuvenation, pore reduction, skin tightening, or reduction of acne and acne scars? Who isn’t? Microneedling with radiofrequency is a game changer for these types of skin concerns.

Microneedling creates tiny micro-injuries in the skin, which stimulate natural healing processes that improve collagen production and rejuvenate the skin.

We also suggest adding PRP (platelet-rich plasma) to your treatment to speed up healing and enhance your results. We recommend a series of three treatments, each one month apart. You can expect mild to moderate redness after the procedure which may last 2 to 4 hours. Mild swelling or flakiness can persist for a couple of days, but it’s usually not noticeable.

This is where laser skin resurfacing comes in. During a laser skin resurfacing treatment, heat-controlled energy is utilized to improve the overall appearance of the skin. By removing the outer layers of the skin, we are able to significantly reduce lines, wrinkles, and blemishes.

The strength of lasers is typically broken into two categories:

Ablative – Removes the exterior layers of the skin and provides more drastic improvements.
Non-ablative – Stimulates natural collagen production in the skin without removing outer layers.

If you’re looking for an effective treatment with virtually no downtime (so you can go back to work on the same day), try our Clear and Brilliant or Permea lasers.

If you’re looking to invest in a more aggressive treatment with even more impactful results, ask about our Fraxel treatment. The Fraxel Dual laser has been the gold standard for years, treating pigmentation, sun damage, acne scars, loose skin, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Laser Body Contouring

You probably don’t need anyone to tell you that women (and men) are prone to storing fat in those hard-to lose areas like the lower abdomen, hips, thighs, and arms. Usually, these pockets of fat are resistant to diet and exercise.

We offer Smartlipo (AKA laser lipolysis) to strategically target and melt those stubborn fat cells with controlled heat. Once liquified, the fat is gently extracted through a suction device.

Unlike traditional liposuction techniques, laser lipolysis actually works to tighten skin around the treatment area by stimulating collagen production. Plus, the procedure is minimally invasive so recovery time is a cinch.

If Smartlipo isn’t for you, we also offer several incredibly effective, non-invasive treatments to remove fat permanently. Coolsculpt works by freezing fat, Sculpsure works by melting fat, and Trusculpt works by using radiofrequency to heat and tighten the skin. All these devices are safe and comfortable, so they’ll have minimal effect on your daily schedule.

Redness, Acne & Rosacea Control Using the Cutera Excel-V

Rosacea causes redness, flushing, pustules, and burning. Overall, it’s an uncomfortable skin condition. And unfortunately, women are 3 times more likely to develop rosacea than men.

Luckily, rosacea is completely treatable with the help of Cutera Excel-V. Excel-V targets the superficial blood vessels and broken capillaries to safely close them and reduce a red appearance.

Excel-V can also be used to treat spider veins and significantly shrink pores, preventing acne breakouts.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

Lasers can safely treat a seemingly endless list of skin concerns. We most often treat patients for the following:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sun damage and freckle removal
  • Excess hair
  • Stubborn fat
  • Acne scars
  • Acne
  • Broken blood vessels
  • Rosacea
  • Stretch marks
  • Enlarged pores
  • Uneven skin tone or texture
  • Tattoo removal

Additionally, laser treatments can restore texture, pigmentation, and firmness to lax skin. They can also noticeably reverse signs of aging and fatigue.

Laser-assisted cosmetic treatments are incredibly versatile, and can offer powerful solutions for any skin type or skin tone.

We know you’re busy, so we keep our laser treatments short. Depending on the treatment, laser sessions last somewhere between 30 minutes to one hour. We use a local anesthetic or topical numbing agent so you can finish your treatment quickly and get back to your busy life.

With the exception of Smartlipo, which only requires a single session, most laser treatments for the skin and hair require a series of three and six sessions over the course of several weeks or months to achieve optimal results. That’s not to say you won’t experience benefits from one treatment. You will! But optimal results take several treatments to appear.

Most of our laser treatments are minimally or non-invasive. However, you may experience minor bruising, redness, or discomfort in the days following your procedure.

The duration of your results depends on a number of factor, such as:

  • Type of laser used in the procedure
  • Your targeted treatment area
  • How closely you follow your aftercare plan

If ablative lasers are used, it may require a few weeks or months for the skin to fully display the results. However, you’ll likely notice an immediate visible improvement to your skin’s appearance and quality. And the results will last for years to come.

If a non-ablative laser is used for your treatment, the results will typically progress over time following the recommended number of treatment sessions. While not as immediate and drastic as the results of ablative lasers, you’ll start to see more and more improvements to your skin’s texture and pigment with each treatment.

Aftercare for your skin is of the utmost importance when it comes to maintaining your refreshed appearance. Treated areas will be highly sensitive to sun exposure for a year following your treatment, so you’ll need to be proactive about sun care to ensure your skin is protected and to lessen the risk of reversing your results.
