Gabriela Soza, M.D.
Dr. Soza graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas as an NCAA Division I All-American swimmer with a degree in Biological Sciences. She earned her medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and awarded the Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement. Dr. Soza completed both her internship in Internal Medicine and Dermatology residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Soza speaks English and Spanish, and is licensed in New York and Texas.

A native Texan, Dr. Soza is proud to bring her southern hospitality to New York City and treat her patients with the utmost level of compassionate and knowledgeable care.
Dr. Soza has authored several peer-reviewed publications, including a chapter on sexual health in dermatology a clinical textbook. During her dermatology training under Dr. Alan Menter and Dr. So Yeon Paek, Dr. Soza became highly proficient in the treatment of complex dermatological diseases, notably psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and hidradenitis suppurativa. Her expertise also includes facial and body rejuvenation using fillers, toxins and lasers, non-invasive body contouring, acne, melasma, rosacea, and skin cancer prevention and education.
An important aspect of her upbringing was giving back, and Dr. Soza is passionate towards helping those in need. As a resident she volunteered at the Worth Street Clinic and the Agape Clinic, free dermatology clinics providing critical care to the local underserved populations. Outside of the United States, medical volunteerism has led her to the Himalayas, Ecuador, Mexico, and Uganda.
To Dr. Soza, being a dermatologist offers the chance to build lifelong relationships with patients while addressing all aspects of their dermatological needs. With her expert training and as a recipient of the Outstanding Student in Pediatrics award in medical school, Dr. Soza is passionate about treating patients of all ages and backgrounds. Acutely aware of the emotional, psychological, and systemic health effects of dermatologic disease, she is dedicated to helping all of her patients look and feel their best.
